Upgrade the OS version of your Mac:
MacOS 10.13High Sierra (or later MacOS) must be installed on the host computer before installing the New ssd. These OS versions include an EFI firmware update for your host computer. Without the update, the new SSD will not be recognized.

Plug and play:
In order to make it more convenient for you to use our SSD, we have pre-installed OS Catalina in the SSD. After replacing the SSD, there is no need to install the OS again, you can plug and play. (If you need us to pre-install one of High Sierra/Mojave/Big Sur, please contact us or leave a message in the order)

Speed test:
1.The SSD uses 3D NAND TLC chips, PCIe NVMe protocol. Faster reading and writing speed. But the characteristics of TLC, in the case of long-term continuous reading and writing, the speed will drop. Please be aware of this.
2.Different motherboards, CPUs, memory, they all affect the speed of SSD. Because this SSD can be compatible with dozens of MACs, its read and write performance on different computers are different. What we provide is a real speed test picture, but it does not represent the reading and writing speed on your computer. for reference only. If you cannot accept this, please don't place an order.
